[News] [X360]

Seems to be the week of lackluster DLC releases: first the Wii, now Xbox.  In Microsoft's defense, they did release another Xbox Original, Burnout 3: Takedown, this week.  And don't miss "Last Train To Clarksville" by The Monkees for Rock Band...WTF.

Xbox Live Arcade Releases

Boogie Bunnies
1-2 Players/Co-Op & Live - Rated E - 800 Points - Artech Studios

Help the Boogie Bunnies achieve their dream of superstardom as they shimmy shake their way through exotic, colorful destinations all the way to Hollywood. Only you can ensure they make it. In this revolutionary match-3 puzzle game, Boogie Bunnies lets you match up these wacky disco fur balls from three different sides—left, right, and from the bottom. Score chain combinations and watch them get their groove on. Let's get the party started!

  • Multiple game modes: Play this great match-3 game with a twist at your own pace in three different game modes, Classic, Arcade, and Endless.
  • Exciting destinations: Travel with the bunnies to the Arctic, Amazon, and Hollywood as they adopt the local culture.
  • Stylish 3-D bunnies characters: Discover new bunnies along the way from designer sunglasses-wearing bunnies to completely outfitted diva bunnies.
  • Fancy dance animations: Set up extensive chain combinations to trigger the bunnies' creative dance moves to catchy tunes.
  • Family fun play: Join the party online or offline in two-player cooperative or competitive mode for the whole family to enjoy.

Xbox Originals

Burnout 3: Takedown
1-2 Players/Co-Op - 2-8 Players via Live - Rated T - 1,200 Points - Criterion Games

Burnout 3: Takedown rewrites the rules of the road. Arcade racing is now driven by a new mantra: Aggressive Racing Required. Racing gamers and adrenaline junkies are invited behind the wheel to experience unprecedented speed and action. Use your car to battle your way to the front of the pack. Take down rivals and trigger spectacular crashes.

  • Risk and reward: Earn boost by taking risks and battling your competitors through oncoming traffic, near-misses, tailgating, jumps, and drifting.
  • Crash mode: Cause wanton destruction in a mode dedicated to crashing. Racers are challenged to crash into (and through) busy intersections, creating carnage and as much damage as possible. Unlock new rewards and more features!
  • Incredible depth: Maximize mayhem with 67 cars, 40 different races, and 100 crash junctions on three different continents.
  • Multiple race types: Scream through nine different race modes including: Single Race, Tournament, Lap Eliminator, Burning Lap, Road Rage, and more.
  • Online multiplayer with Xbox LIVE®: Race online in seven different modes, featuring up to six participants battling through full oncoming traffic. Online modes include variations of Crash Mode, Single Race, Road Rage, and more.
  • Awesome crash technology: Take advantage of sophisticated simulation modeling that recreates high-speed crashes with extreme detail. Use your car to take out opponents—you’ll continue controlling your vehicle even after crashing!

Man I love Last Train to Clarksville my the Monkees! You just don't realize how cool that song is and how much fun it will be to play in Rock Band.

Don't be a Monkee-Hater because you can't appreciate them! :)
