[News] [Wii]

In something that looks far more like Sin City than the 1963 film with a similar name, MadWorld looks like an ultra-violent third person romp through a Frank Miller graphic novel, and arguably the most attractive adult game to hit the Wii yet.

Platinum Games , whose collective resume includes Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 4, Okami, and Viewtiful Joe, is developing this bloody beauty.

Although there is not much information available about the title, developer Shigenori Nishikawa did offer this in a recent IGN article, "It's a story that we feel will motivate the player to move forward and keep the same comical, over-the-top nature and while we are preparing a very fun and interesting story, we will talk more about that in the future."

I'm not sure just what it will be, but to paraphrase a friend of mine, "I think it will just make me wish they made a Sin City game."

It's impossible to say just what the game, with such limited information at this point in the development cycle, will become.  Hopefully, MadWorld will be the beautiful girl with a great personality, and not some hottie with no soul.

Dude is that freaking Hellboy? Did they take Hellboy and stick him into Sin City and then name it after some obscure film no one has ever heard of because the story tangentially relates to the story of said film?

How 'innovative'
