[News] [PC]

The wait for the new EVE Online expansion, Trinity, is almost over. CCP just announced the down times for the servers while they implement the massive upgrade. Check out the information, times and some trailers...

The time for EVE to evolve from beautiful to gorgeous is approaching! Trinity, EVE Online's newest expansion, will be deployed on Wednesday, December 5th, commencing at 02:00 GMT. The process will take approximately 24 hours, during which the game server, Tranquility, as well as the EVE forums will be unavailable. Service is expected to return by 02:00 GMT on Thursday, December 6th. As with all previous expansions, Trinity will available as a free download for all EVE Online subscribers.

Trinity is EVE Online's biggest expansion to date and largely centers on a new graphics system. The client will automatically detect if your video display system is compatible for use with the Premium graphics content and ask if you wish to download and install it or the Classic graphics content. All players, regardless of which graphics content they are using, will upgrade to Trinity and enjoy all of the new game content features in the expansion. To see a preview of EVE: Trinity, you can download the 102M HD1080p EVE: Trinity Trailer or the smaller 64M HD720p EVE: Trinity Trailer. Other features may be found on the EVE: Trinity Feature Site. Sorry but the trailers are too wide for the site so you'll have to view them remotely.
