Representatives from Rockstar Games, makers of the incredibly popular Grad Theft Auto series, have said the next iteration of the game will utilize the company's newly created RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Game Engine) game engine. Rockstar has already used the game to create their newly relased Table Tennis, and according to this article on MTV.com, the word is "GTA:NextGen" will utilize it as well. I'd just like to say, I called it! After all, who just sets out to create a Ping-Pong game? (Admittedly, it is quite fun, though.)

Infinity: The Quest for Earth, according to the game's website, is a "...massively multiplayer online game set in a futuristic persistent universe. Players can discover a huge galaxy with billions of planets and can explore, combat, trade, socialize.. the possibilities are endless!" Honestly, I don't think those statements do the scope of this game justice. The game engine will supposedly have the ability to render ENTIRE planets in realtime! Check out the video below. The really good stuff starts about half way through the video.

For those of you not in the know, the title of this post is a quote from The Godfather: Part III.

There was a time when I played, dare I say I was addicted to , EverQuest. Some co-workers introduced me to "the junk", and hence began my addiction to "Ever-Crack".

For those of you who have never played a MMORPG, I don't expect you to understand. For my fellow recovering addicts, you will understand the gravity of what I'm about to tell you. A few days ago, Fileplanet.com announced a 17-day free trial of City of Villains. Dangerous as I know it is, I am seriously considering it.

After all, you can't get addicted after just trying something, can you?
