[News]

I like giving gamers cool stuff. It makes my heart warm to see and hear from happy gamers and if you really knew me you would know that that is something special. So I really needed to post this quick message we received from Alison Richards (no relation to Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four we think) after notifying her that she won last month's Videogame to Film Adaptation contest from Generation: Gamerz and the ICFLM Film Festival.

Here's what Alison had to say:

I'm still in a bit of shock over winning, and let me just say thank you for creating the contest.  It was a pleasure to work on an idea for entry, and between all the hardcore gamers and of course ICFLM's film makers, I'm just amazed that I was able to win.  I didn't think I had a chance!

Thank you again SO much.  You have no idea what this means to me.  It's given me a boost in my writing ego that I was sorely in need of.

As a writer myself I can only say to Alison. Yes, I can fully appreciate what it would mean to a writer to win a writing contest! I'm still waiting Alison...

Congratulations again Alison and we hope to see you at the ICFLM Film Festival for the presentation.

Stay tuned for the next contest which we are busily attempting to glean from our Magic 8-ball, crystal ball and Ouija board. Though from past experience I have found them all to be sort of crap for contests. But who knows, Halloween is fast approaching.
