Ok so maybe you won't actually be able to check your email while in orbit around the planet but I don't see why not.

Users of Hotmail by now have seen the latest marketing email from Microsoft that states you can win a trip to space on the Rocketplane along with a massive AMD powered Dell with Windows Vista on it.

Actually the grand prize is:

The trip to space, a Windows Vista based AMD powered Dell desktop pc, 24" widescreen monitor, Zune™ digital media player, an Xbox® 360 gaming console, three Games for Windows game titiles, a Microsoft® LifeCam VX-6000, Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007, and $50,000 cash to help defray the cost of taxes. All I can think to say it HOLY CRAP! Now THAT is a prize package!

In addition there are a ton of other prizes available including 15 PCs, Zunes, Xbox 360s, Vista Ultimate and some Games for Windows.

How to get into the goods? Go to Vanishing Point and play the game, solve the puzzles, win the prizes. Each week a puzzle box will be unlocked with a hint and 12 puzzles to solve. Here are the official how to play rules:

The Vanishing Point is a puzzle challenge spanning the world, with prizes that go beyond it. Each week, twelve puzzles will be posted along with footage of an unusual real world event. Each puzzle consists of an online element and a real world element which must be combined to arrive at the correct answer.

To join your fellow players and take part in a puzzle challenge spanning the planet, you can either show up at the physical location when a countdown hits zero, or check online to view recorded footage of the event.

Think you've got what it takes to solve my puzzles and reach the Vanishing Point? Hurry, things in my world tend to disappear...

You can earn ten (10) additional points each time your valid e-mail address is listed as the "Referring Party" during the registration process completed by another sweepstakes participant. Limit: Twenty (20) listings for two hundred (200) additional points.

At the end of the campaign, each point you earn will get you a ticket into the sweepstakes where you can win any of these prizes
