Wait...this didn't happen yet, at least not in the real world, but with Super Bowl XLI just hours away, simulations of the event are taking place all over the United States. Madden has become everyone's virtual NFL, even the NFL. Undoubtedly, those of you watching the game will see at least a few simulated plays in EA's homage to the gridiron. Below is Game Daily's 2007 Super Bowl simulation, complete with simulated NFL Films voice over.

In addition to American football's championship game being played in Miami, Madden Bowl 2007 has also come to the tropical metropolis.

The Madden Bowl is a single elimination video game tournament utilizing the current edition of EA's Madden NFL. Now, in its 13th year, the event has evolved to an NFL players only tournament, where the virtual gladiators are free to choose any team. The event has even managed to crown 3 two-time winners in its short history: Reggie Brooks, Jacquez Green, Dwight Freeney, and now Alex Smith, winner of the 2006 and 2007 Madden Bowl.
