Another week of Nintendo's brand of retro gaming has landed on PAL Wii, and this time it's an over-priced threesome of a dinosaur, a sequel to a spin-off and a side-scrolling action game.
It seems to be that Nintendo is following the same plan that many game studios are doing, not bothering to look outside the box and find something new for us but rather just keep slinging spin-off and sequel after sequel on the Virtual Console. I can hardly wait for the Wii Ware to come around so we can get some new and more interesting gaming ideas flowing onto the platform. The Virtual Console is cool but I am tired of seeing the same old things show up week in and week out and I'm especially tired of seeing the lame games from the 80's and 90's making reappearances, as if buying and playing them once wasn't insult enough to gamers.
