Being born in 1971 was perfect for SuperGuido because video games were just beginning their ascent. He used to ditch school and head to the bowling alley which had an ample arcade, including Ikari Warriors and Mr. Do, and would often go without lunch because he spent the money on games.
Someone gave him his first computer, an Atari 800XL, in 1981 and there has never been a time since that he has not had at least one gaming machine. In addition to computer gaming, on the Atari, Amiga, Commodore and PC, he has also owned an Intellivision, Colecovision, Odyssey, Atari 2600, 5200, Sega Genesis, TurboGrafx-16, all of the Nintendo consoles, both the Playstation and PS2, Gameboy, DS and even an Xbox.
He is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA but currently he resides in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic where he teaches English, writes, and of course still plays video games daily. He also has a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology and 10 years of professional IT experience. He has recently finished writing his second book and will attempt to find a publisher in early 2007 for both books.
His favorite games include the Zelda series, Kingdom Hearts, Mario games Counter-Strike and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. But that is all only a small list of the games he enjoys playing. He longs for the return of an updated Alternate Reality game which he claims was the greatest game of its time (1985).
When not writing or doing graphics design for Generation: Gamerz, he writes on a variety of subjects at Xomba.

SuperGuido has recently realized he is a full-blown Nintendo Fanboy. This came to full light when Cigdangle said 'you finished Mario Kart 64 in one day and didn't leave the house Christmas day because you were too busy praising the N64 god.' As such he has become a Nintendo Ambassador for Europe.
You too can join the Nintendo-Europe Club if you are, like SuperGWiido (that's the Club username) and live in Europe.
