CigDangle

CigDangle was blessed with a father who loved electronics: a trait he passed onto his son. He can remember playing marathon sessions of Combat on the Atari 2600 his father purchased when CigDangle was only 4 years old. He would later broaden his horizons with games like Space Invaders, Pitfall, and Demon Attack.
Then, when CigDangle was only 10 years old, his father would make a purchase that would change his life forever: a personal computer. A Tandy 1000A to be exact. CigDangle would later purchase many game consoles, including a Sega Genesis, the system with which he would introduce his daughter to the world of video games. When she was only months old, she could be found on the living room floor, pushing a button and watching Sonic jump on the screen. Another generation had arrived.
CigDangle resides in Wisconsin, with his daughter and girlfriend, where he works as a Senior LAN Administrator for a large financial services corporation. He has an Associate’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management of Information Systems, and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration.
CigDangle started Generation: Gamerz after realizing he was spending a great deal of time reading other news/blog sites, written by journalists, who weren’t always gamers. He thought, “Why not start my own site?” And so, he did. With the help of TurboGoat and especially SuperGuido, CigDangle turned GG into what it is today: a site for news, reviews, culture, and insight, by gamers. For gamerz.
