The Unreal Engine 3 comes to browsers with Flash
Epic Games has announced that its Unreal Engine 3 can now run on Adobe Flash technology, ie one of the most widely used graphics engines between the current systems now reaching the site. The Unreal Engine 3 was shown on Adobe Flash Player 11, which was already released. The engine has been optimized for this platform for the presentation of digital content on the web.
Adobe Flash Player 11 features and hardware acceleration functions, so you can execute complex graphics engines such as Epic Games. The improvement in overall performance in terms of graphics, both 2D and 3D from Flash Player 10 is 1000% faster and can run on Windows, Mac and even televisions to include them in your software.
Adobe Flash is used in many online games and browser games and even social systems, as many of those integrated into Facebook. "With Unreal Engine 3 and Flash, games designed for high-end consoles can now run on the web or Facebook applications, reaching a huge user base", said Tim Sweeney, one of the founders of Epic Games.
