Gran Turismo 5: Time stands!

The wait is coming to an end: As part of Gamescom press conference, Sony has announced when the virtual racer glossy roll in this country from the pit lane. So in the fall. But perhaps even later. Or maybe sooner? For years, announced "Gran Turismo 5" for the Playstation 3, the Edelrenner moved.

Last mid-January, still promised deadline of 31 March 2010 from developer Polyphony Digital was no longer tenable. Meanwhile, the fans suffer the torments of hell. Now Sony's Portugal boss James Armstrong turns the screws even further. In an interview with the online magazine Canarias Al Dia, he speculates about the Europe launch. This does not bring clarity. On the contrary. In a single sentence explains Armstrong, the game came in the fall - before Christmas - but that was not decided yet.

Nice that the manager is convinced Sun. But with a further remark, he disturbs the delicate budding anticipation. Because he doubts that "Gran Turismo 5" is the new control concept motion control support. What is missing is that a certain Duke Nukem rider field belongs to.

Update
As part of the Gamescom press conference, Sony has release date for the racing game. Accordingly, the book is on 3 November 2010 on the shelves - at least in Europe. In North America, race fans a day earlier on the race tracks.
