Sony vs Microsoft - comparison of PS4 and Xbox One

Weeks separate us from the E3 2013 where Microsoft and Sony end to reveal all the features and new games for next generation consoles. In order to keep with the latest information on what will happen in this mega event we are going to offer a comparison of PS4 and Xbox One with what is known so far on both consoles.

E3 will be the final battleground:

Sony and Microsoft prepare all their weapons for what will be the final battle of the presentations of the new generation console. The two largest companies in the gaming world (bypassing Nintendo) will present information on their consoles the same day of the E3 conference that will be held between 11 and 13 June, but look more specifically what we know so far to be better prepared for that moment.

Comparison of Xbox One and PlayStation 4:

Features of Xbox One:

Let's start with the most important, what's inside the console. Xbox One use an 8-core x86 processor that will power eight times higher than the current console, but which has not been given much information. In addition integrated your GPU will CPU which will be a 40-nanometer chip. And your RAM is DDR3 8GB model. Finally Xbox One will have a storage capacity of 500GB, but maybe another version with less hard-and higher-Cloud support is also thrown.

As for other details, no less important, we must keep in mind that reading Xbox One will use a DVD / Blu-Ray, USB 3.0 connectivity, Ethernet / Wi-Fi and HDMI input and output also support 4K.

PS4 characteristics:

Again start with the most important, what's inside the console, which is worth narrow, it was shown in the official launch of PS4 but surely see in the new presentation of Sony at E3 2013. PS4 will run on a x86 processor CPU AMD 8-core Jaguar together with the CPU also run the GPU can generate 1.84 Teraflops through a generation AMD Radeon. As this will be your RAM and GDDR5 8GB storage space has not yet been announced.

On the other hand its connectivity not vary much from that proposed by Microsoft reader also having DVD / Blu-Ray, USB 3.0 connectivity, Ethernet / Wi-Fi and support for 4K resolution input and output via HDMI.

Xbox One vs PS4:

As you would think there will be many technical differences between the power and quality of both consoles, however, the real battle will be played in demonstrating the potential in not only via software and video games, but also as a center of entertainment and diversity proposals with time of use.

It is true that Sony is ahead at this point showing a very good game; however, Microsoft has also done its showing the many features of your new console and its total integration Kinect 2, which seems to have many more uses that demonstrated in the inaugural conference of Xbox One.

Regarding its controls these also have been improved and exploited to take the maximum advantage of them keeping the smallest space possible. Both the Dualshock 4 and the new Xbox One remote control have very interesting features that will affect the way in how we play video games today.

On the other hand its release date and price will also have effects on players which neither likes to pay fortunes not also like to wait long for their new devices. At this point both companies remain tight, just having said that both consoles launched by the end of 2013 and that their consoles are not overly expensive, but rather keep launch costs similar to the PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively.
