Miyamoto confirms Wii U only use a remote screen

Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo's  has confirmed that Wii U is connected to a command screen and the console does not support more connections. The remaining connections are made with steering controls of Wii and its peripherals. Of course, in return you can use a handheld Nintendo 3DS.

Thus, Wii U controller can only use a touchscreen to the console, but opens the door to more similar configurations with connectivity to 3DS.



"Our basic premise is that you can only use a Wii U Remote to the system", said Miyamoto. "If we take the idea of ​​multiple controls may be more convenient for people to use the 3DS and have a way of connecting".

The multiplayer, therefore, confirms that Wii U will use a max command, but other players may participate using the Wii controls for up to four players.
