First details of Super Smash Bros

Satoru Iwata and Masahiro Sakurai, creator of franchises like Kirby and Super Smash Bros., have commented how the next installment of the series, to be released in WiiU and Nintendo 3DS, interacting both systems.

The development has not yet begun, but both have outlined some ideas on how will this project began to take shape, as has been revealed, in 2008, after completing the development of Super Smash Bros. Sakurai believes that a portable will play "a more individual experience", but more available because the player can be carried the console always with him. Sakurai notes that the player "feel more attached" to their achievements, data, collections made, and so on.

Sakurai expects the portable version allows the player to build their character, won prizes and rewards, and then to pass it to the version WiiU to fight other, establishing a "personal" relationship on the portable and "public" in the domestic, who would join in this way.
