Braid creator rule out its new game fits console
Jonathan Blow, creator of Braid, is working on The Witness, a PC puzzle game open and non-linear, it seems will not ultimately suited to consoles. In statements to the British magazine Edge, Blow says, "we like Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but its technical characteristics are of five years ago, and that's much older computers".
"The tricks you had to do to make the game work on those platforms represent so much work to fit in this moment we are not worth it", concludes Blow.
It hopes that the game can provide enough business performance released on PC and dispositio IOS (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, but has not specified which of these platforms will be launched). "The budget of the game we would like to retrieve the game through Steam and IOS, and if possible get some benefit", he says.
However, all is not lost, as Blow admits that "perhaps within a year at this time is saying something else because I discovered it was mistaken, but I don't think so".
