Sony launch large titles of PSP remastered in Playstation 3

Sony will bring classic PSP titles to PlayStation 3 as part of a new line called PSP Remaster. The company announced the series with his first major release, at least for now only in Japan. PSP Remaster will offer titles remastered of PSP to play in Playstation 3. The games will be adapted to high definition, with support for Dual Shock 3, PS3 exclusive content, 3D support, and other features.



Also you can share data between the PSP and PS3 versions. Sony says this could be allowed to play a PSP game anywhere, and then continue playing when we get home. The PS3 version will also be compatible with Ad Hoc PSP for online gaming service.

The series will start first in Japan through the sale of titles in Blu-ray, says Sony. The statements suggest that it will also be released internationally and we can also see some games in downloadable format. The press release does not mention this, however.

For the first title of the series, Sony begins with one very important. Capcom will launch a version for PS3 of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd under the name of Monster Hunter Portable HD. The PSP game in Japan which has sold more than 4.5 million copies, will count in this version with 3D support, high-definition visual effects and share files saved with PSP.
