Rebirth of a myth
The myth of the Transformers was born during the eighties, when through TV was airing the popular animated series that raises many fans and enthusiasts. The origins of success, however, are unearthed in the editions badged Hasbro toy, which they dragged with them the success of bringing the brand to have assets of films, manga and video games of course. Transformers: Cybertron War for arises mainly due to the success that the series has in recent years on the big screen, success has brought with it many crowds of fans.

So what better opportunity to return to dancing after a period of little success? Let's see if the combination, Activision and High Moon Studios development team, has managed to design a product to satisfy the masses.


A title split in half ...
Transformers: Cybertron War for all the features that today's qualifications should include: single-player campaign mode and online competitive and cooperative. Alas for defects scattered here and there, all is not successful as we wanted ... let's see what went wrong and contrary to what else is wrong.

The campaign of the product brings with it a fundamentally well-built structure with the mechanics of the classic Third Person Shooter well defined and working. Eroded in the narrative, however, we will involve the most trivial war between two factions (also narrated no frills) and the low efficiency of AI enemies or teammates. In addition, the environment is very attractive and yet very different and not too functional to the cause. This element, not least, makes it less attractive to the adventure series that will slip away in about ten hours. The situation is different due to the cooperative mode, which will bring a bit of salt in the path to bring to fruition, but nothing more. Different story for how multiplayer really well orchestrated and full of interesting ideas. Thanks to a stable netcode and almost never a dancer, we divide multi-player competitive battles that we will manage various kinds of elements blended together well. The growth of our people, divided between four different categories (scout, soldier, leader and scientist), followed step by step their different skills which will be available in battle by encouraging them to move forward and evolve our protagonist killing blows.

In addition to fun and functional competitive mode, you add the classic and ever used today, Horde option, where we will face an ever increasing amount of enemies ready to skin us. We can therefore say that Transformers: Cybertron War for a title that can be divided into two separate experiences, a successful and well characterized, the other the single-player, a little stronger and deeper.

A winning product anyway.
Title Activision therefore unable to carve out a role of thickness in the gaming scene today, especially thanks to its field multiplayer. The gameplay is very well structured in the section on the world of online, but tedious and front linear single player campaign. Longevity, in this case, can carve out a role through the fun options as successful multiplayer that will keep you glued to the screen for some time.
